ENGINE REBUILD
Learn how to rebuild motorcycle engines. In this class we will thoroughly go through the entire engine including theory discussion and hands on work. Specifically, we will cover: fundamental theory and components, engine condition tests/diagnostics, tear-down, inspection, and re-assembly.
The knowledge and experience gained in the class is applicable to any four-strokes engine. By the end of the class you will be familiar with the engine’s operations and components, and will have the tools and confidence to rebuild or restore motorcycle engines.
These are not bench engines. We will be working on an in-line four motorcycle. The class will run for five, three-hour sessions.
You will do it all:
- Top end and valves
- Pistons and cylinders
- Crankshaft, connecting rods and main bearings selections
- Clutch and transmission
No experience is necessary, just desire to learn and get your hands dirty.
